Any other devices that want to join the homegroup that you just set up need to input this same password when they attempt to join the homegroup. When I try to use Homegroup it says there is an existing Homegroup and invites all 4 units to join. Note: If a Homegroup already exists in your local network, Windows 10 will invite you to join the existing Homegroup. Choose Homenetgroup and follow the instructions, to leave the current homenetgroup. Do not use the built in local administrator account for this but a completely separate account.
Any newbie can figure out how to join a homegroup. If you want update privileges I had to right click the library and update the share the home group to edit.
