S-Gear mod, delay and reverb are the best I've ever heard. When it comes to rock style Rhythm guitar which I don't directly use stereo effects on , I usually record 2 mono tracks which are the same riff played the same except for the occasional change in notes for harmony reasons. Left at default there is a delay in the signal chain that is overloaded from the get go. So, dipending on your tracklist you may need to create one or more additional bank folders. That can be very overwhelming and distracting since in the meantime you can't stop playing! It's important to assign one switch on your remote controller for the tap tempo function since you'll have to set the correct tempo for each song in the tracklist cons: it's hard find a good balance with sounds. If you're goign to do that though, maybe it would be easier to use an envelope filter plugin and set the sweep rate to a tempo that suits your needs.

I prefer to use Documents, because I manage with it some folders with audio files, but you can use any other. For others, that's Ignite, and for others it's Logic's native plugs, and so on. With the iPad version, it sounds good and as I would expect. Have you already tried similar approaches or other? With iReal is the same thing. I also use stereo effects on my leads and stereo imaging enhancement plugins in some instances.
I was really impressed with Bias's Crybaby wah. As guitarist usually you may basically need 3-4 type of sounds Clean, light Crunch, Distorted for rhythm parts and Lead , basic ambient fx's Delay and Reverb and several modulation Fx's depending on the song. You are going to have to record the riff twice. However, there is one question that is giving me a lot of frustration because I can't find the answer after several hours of searching. And it still doesn't match S-Gear. You can run both apps simultaneously and play and hear. I'll try to do my best! New sounds inspire new riffs and songs.

After they have been recorded, I usually pan one track to the right +45-50 and the other -45-50 to the left. My gut feeling is that there is probably something better out there, but you'll find Bias an upgrade over what comes stock with logic. You just grabbed yourself a handful of pips! Forget swapping out real guitars in the studio to record the next track, or grabbing another guitar onstage for the next song. S-Gear just makes the guitar come alive. If you can do that with Logic's rig, then that's awesome. Each one is modeled at the component level with meticulous attention to detail.
