I had to remove plastic liner on rear door to see what color wires I need to tap in to; power for rear sensors come from reverse light - light pink and white wires - I ran my wire all the way to reverse light connector and tapped into it about 4 inches before ; front sensors getting it from brake light - i connected my wire inside little door on the left in cargo area - yellow and white wires. Or is there a post that I overlooked? Anyone with sensors I got my parking sensors aftermarket in the spring after getting my car in February. I need to properly align back bumper anyway - one more reason to remove it and do it right the first time : yeah, definitely make sure you have room behind the bumper before you drill. One hint when drilling the holes: Cover the entire area which needs to be drilled with masking tape first. . However the front parking sensors work well all the time. In addition, I'm not sure what the sensors look like but there is the possibility that the tabs that the retaining clip lock onto have been broken. They were fitted by the previous owner and are now no longer working probably a dud sensor but as I pretty much know where the bumper is I can get very close to other cars without touching them so dont need them. They are mounted on the front bumper in line with the number plate and equally spaced. After picking up our P85 Model S on Friday First Day Thoughts 1 -- You Dont Need the P85. You can get ones with monitors for more also wireless ones are a bit more. I have found instructions on how to access the ones on the front by removing the bumper, but not the rear.
