In the story, Touma Kamijou is an ordinary high school boy with terrible academic scores and a power called Imagine Breaker. She was hardly present for half the show and during the rare occasions when she is in an episode, she gets sidelined and become a minor character with absolutely no impact to the story beside biting Touma on the head. The opening songs fit the action theme of To Aru Majutsu no Index very well, and the relaxing ending songs tone down viewers' excitement after watching the episodes. Theres nothing good here but its not necessarily bad. Now I'll be the first to admit that the To Aru Majutsu no Index series has been less than brilliant but I still found the first series enjoyable.

In this world eerily similar to Touma's world, Kuroko is only referenced by Mikoto to be busy when she is forced to confront the sender of the junk mail to Tokiwadai's dormitory, a task that is usually handled by Kuroko according to her. Aside from being the main antagonist for the majority of the science side plotline, he is also the one of the few characters that received a noticeable amount of character development. After Saten introduces herself, she tells Mikoto about the information they had gathered from Misaka 10032's cat. She then uses a small device to deafen her ability to echolocate. It's not all bad though, the last two arcs are actually really good and really enjoyable, for a few notable reasons, one of which being that they actually serve to progress the story and in a very notable way. His encounter with her leads him to meet others from the secret worlds of science and magic.
She asks Saten how long the cameras were there, to which she says that they have been there since Kuroko entered the building. Kuroko asks if they're sure Mitori hasn't been seen in any other camera, to which Saten confirms. Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Kuroko is one of the new characters added to the in the Ignition update. Later, when Anti-Skill is too overwhelmed by Endymion's defenses to even get near one of the explosive bolts, contacts them, stating that they will aid it. It is later revealed that all the actions of the people in the city where under the manipulations of , making calculations and sending out bait like the liquid diamond that Mie took to prevent human casualties during the High Priest's rampage. Kuroko then asks why she didn't contact Uiharu. She then tells her that if she is really worried, then she can do her work in front of them.
And for the sake of doing this, they pretty much confine most of the other characters to the sidelines. No explanation is given as to why it is he has this power, what its full potential actually is, or why it's capable of negating supernatural abilities in the first place - it becomes clear in one of the later arcs that there is clearly a lot more to Imagine Breaker than meets the eye, although this statement is kind of redundant, seeing as it was obvious but that's about it. With that, they are launched into space by Kongou's Aero Hand. She later saved Touma from the rest of the Tokiwadai girls, but soon after fainted from heatstroke and lack of sleep. However, once the dust settles, it always makes me wonder what happen to the story that was suppose to center around Index. And now that you're left with that empty shell you have the opportunity of realising just how ridiculously irritating Touma can be with his annoying speeches. They have begun their activities once more.
